Craniosacral Therapy
What is
it?
CST
is one of the most gentle and yet powerful forms of holistic healing.
It is used to detect and correct imbalances in the craniosacral system,
which may be the cause of sensory, motor or intellectual dysfunction.
This
therapy treats people rather than conditions. It is primarily
concerned with creating a healthy balanced state on all levels,
physical, mental and emotional. It
is a very gentle yet powerful form of treatment that can be helpful to
most people and in most conditions – from minor aches and pains to
severe and persistent chronic health problems. CST is a deeply profound healing process, which can influence the deeply held patterns of both physical and psychological disease which accumulate throughout life as a result of injury, illness or trauma and become held in the body tissues, leading to ill health and dysfunction. It
has the potential to transform these patterns of restriction and
resistance in our lives at a very fundamental level, thereby eliminating
disease and restoring health.
How
does it work?
CST is an exceptionally gentle touch; the practitioner’s hands are very light, rather like a butterfly touch. This enables them to be able to pick up subtle patterns within the body – rhythms deeply rooted in the core structures Every condition affecting a person influences this movement – creating restrictions of the Cranio-Sacral motion. By
responding appropriately to these patterns – in other words by gently
allowing the subtle movements deep within the body to unwind themselves
– the practitioner enables the release of the restrictions. Craniosacral Therapy works on different levels and influence many different structures within the body. It influences the muscular-skeletal system, nervous system, cardiovascular system, immune system and connective tissues. It therefore has a widespread and profound effect on conditions affecting all of these systems, so it covers a wide range of ailments. click here to email info@restore2health.com Copyright © 2004 by
